Why should I register a user account at iClassifyMalta.com?

By registering a new user account with iClassifyMalta.com, you will be able to post your listings such as products and adverts on iClassifyMalta.com.

You will also be able to contact the listing owner directly from any listed item and add any items you wish to your wish list for future reference.

You can also subscribe to receive newsletters.  



How do I register and create a user account at iClassifyMalta.com?

Creating an account with us is very simple.

First locate the “MY ACCOUNT” link at the Header or at the Footer of any page on iClassifyMalta.com.

From there you will be instructed to fill in your details and submit your registration form. 


Are there any fees for creating a user account or for posting a listing?

No, the use of most services at iClassifyMalta.com is generally free.

We do not charge any fees for registering your user account with us, nor for posting listings on iClassifyMalta.com.

However, if you wish to further expose your listing you can purchase any one of the Premium Features listed after you have saved your post or from the "Your Adverts" section.


How can I add a new listing?

Creating a new listing on iClassifyMalta.com is very simple.

You just have to log in with your user account and password you have already created and click on the “Add Listing” button located at the top right corner of the home page.

You are now redirected to the “Your Adverts” page. Select the green "ADD NEW ADVERT" button located at the top right of the “Your Adverts" page which directs you to the "Main category page".

From there you can choose the Main Category for your listing.  After choosing the Main Category you will be presented with a form to fill up with information about your item.

Well done! Don't forget to "SAVE" your item.


How can I add Images to my listing?

You are entitled for one free image for each listed item.

You can upload images when you “INSERT”  or “EDIT” a listing using the fill up “Form” presented to you.

First locate and image location on the "General  Form” and click on the blue upload next to the image to upload any image you wish to bind with your listing. We recommend you to use images which are 176px by 176px for best appearance. The image size must not exceed the 3Mb.

To delete or change an uploaded image, first you have to “DELETE” the unwanted image. Locate and click the red "Delete" button next to the image. Now you can upload the new image.

If you wish to add more images to your listed items you can do so by purchasing more images from the Premium Features section which is located on the "Your Adverts" page or after you save a new listing or edited a listed item.

Premium Images are located on a separate tab on the fill up “Form” named Premium Images. The process of uploading and deleting Premium Images is the same as described here. You can also change the sorting order of your Premium Images or choose to disable them from showing up to visitors.


How can I benefit from Premium Features?

If you wish to further promote your items or adverts, you can choose to add any one or all of the Premium Features presented to you after you have saved your listing or when you edit an existing listed item.

With a small fee, you can extend your listing duration from 30 days, (special offer of 180 days listing days is on NOW)  to a maximum of 1 year so you don't have to relist your item after its default 30 day expiry date.

You can also opt to add more images to your listed item to make it more attractive.

We also encourage you to use our Premium Featured listing option which enables you to publish your items or adverts prominently at the top of any section selected by you for the desired period of time. Featured Items or adverts are always made visible by the system, even when viewers of iClassifyMalta.com make use of search filters to filter out displayed content. 


How can I delete a listed item?

Deleting an item is very simple.

You just have to log on with your user account and password and click on the “Add Listing” button located at the top right corner of the home page.

You are now redirected to the “Your Adverts” page where you can select one or more items you wish to delete. Items are selected by clicking the checkbox which is found on the left side of each listed item. When done with the selection, click on the red “DELETE” button which is located at the top right corner and the system will prompt you for the final delete confirmation.


How can I edit a listed item?

Editing an item is very simple.

You just have to log on with your user account and password and click on the “Add Listing” button located at the top right corner of the home page. You are now redirected to the “Your Adverts” page where you can select the "EDIT" button for that item you wish to edit.

When done with the editing, you must agree with the privacy policy statement and click the “SAVE” button which is located at the bottom right corner.


How can I contact the owner or the seller of a listed item?

Generally, listed items display the email address and the telephone number of the seller/owner of the listed item. You can contact the seller/owner of the listed item directly via telephone or by sending an email. Alternatively you can opt to use our mailing system and select the “Contact Seller” section of the listed item.


What happens when my listing expires?

The default duration of any listed item is 30 days if not otherwise stated by iClassifyMalta.com. You will be notified with an email 3 days prior the expiry date. After the expiry period, your listing is not deleted from our system but it will not show in searches on iClassifyMalta.com.  You can relist your item if you wish or you can opt to extend your listing duration as much as you like by editing your listing from the “Your Adverts” section and select the “Go Premium” button for that particular item. Please note that items added to the Featured section will still show even if the listing expiry date has been reached.  


How can I report an offensive or inappropriate listed item?

You can report any abusive, offensive or inappropriate listed item by selecting the "Report Abuse" tab which is located on each and every listed item near the "Contact Seller" tab. We will evaluate your report and will take the necessary actions with accordance of our Terms of Use and Conditions and Privacy Policy Statements. 


Can I still operate iClassifyMalta.com from mobile devices?

Yes. The website is designed to adapt to all type of devices irrespective of the size and resolution.
